Punjab govt asks Pakistani Army and Rangers for maximum security for Moharram azadari (Imam Hussain Martyrdom Anniversary).

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Punjab govt asks Pakistani Army and Rangers for maximum security for Moharram azadari (Imam Hussain Martyrdom Anniversary).

The provincial cabinet committee on law and order has also suggested jamming the cellular networks. Particularly, they seek jamming it in areas that in close proximity to the mourning procession routes.

Government of Punjab also announced to ban pillion riding in the entire province from the 1st of Muharram till the 10th.

Besides, it asked Pakistan Army and Rangers forces to ensure maximum security from 1st to 10th of Moharram.

Law Minister Muhammad Basharat Raja also spoke on the matter. He reassured that the government has laid out a thorough and error-proof security plan for the entire province.

Punjab govt did so in accordance with the directives of the Chief Minister of Punjab.

They consider the first 10 days of Moharram crucial in terms of the safety and security of the people, especially for those who participate in the procession.
